অদ্ভুত লাগে, আশ্চর্য হই, বিজ্ঞান এতো উন্নত হয়েছে, অথচ প্রাণীকুলের সমস্ত প্রাণী জীবজন্তু পশুপাখি, - এরা মানুষের কি সাংঘাতিক ভালো করতে পারে, ভাগ্য পরিবর্তন করে দিতে পারে, মনের ইচ্ছা নিমেষেই পূরণ করে দিতে পারে, গোটা পৃথিবীটাকে নতুন করে তৈরি করে দিতে পারে, বিজ্ঞান কেন এখনও সেটা খুঁজে পেল না? কেন খোঁজার চেষ্টা করছে না?
It feels strange, almost astonishing. Science has advanced so far, yet how is it that we have still not discovered what all the animals, creatures and birds of the living world can do for us—how they might bring us extraordinary good, change our destiny, fulfil our deepest wishes in an instant, or even help create the whole world anew? Why has science still not discovered this? Why is it not even trying to find out?
